TIMOTHY SULLIVAN, MD has created a
comprehensive eye center for his patients. An important part of your
total eye care involves understanding your present eye condition,
medical and surgical treatment options, and ways to protect your
future vision.
Our video room gives patients the
opportunity to learn about certain eye conditions and procedures
(e.g., cataracts, glaucoma, lasers.) Contact lenses of all types
(soft, gas permeable, hard disposable, tinted for changing eye
color, astigmatic, bifocal and monovision) are available and fitted
with a high degree of success by Dr. Sullivan who has expertise in
the field.
We are qualified to care for
patients of all ages, from the youngest newborn to our honored
senior citizens. As one goes through life, often eye care needs
change, but we are prepared to deal with each individual's needs.
Dr. Sullivan recommends a yearly
eye exam for persons of all ages – and especially stresses this
exam for persons over forty.
Many serious eye problems such as
cataracts or glaucoma are detected during routine exams, before any
symptoms of vision loss appear. Dr. Sullivan is skilled at
correcting blocked tear ducts in infants; and he recommends a first
eye exam at age three to find "lazy eyes" before vision is
irretrievable lost.
